Amendments Regarding YEKDEM Cost
The Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism (“YEKDEM”) cost per unit of energy supplied for July and subsequent months was determined within the scope of the fourth paragraph of Article 13 and the second paragraph of Article 14 of the Regulation on Certification and Support of Renewable Energy Resources, as established by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (“EMRA”) Decision No. 11952, published in the Official Gazette on 16 July 2023 and numbered 32250.
According to the second paragraph of Article 14 of the Regulation, ‘The YEKDEM cost for the unit settlement-based withdrawal amount within the scope of the supply obligation is determined by a Board Decision for each billing period of the following calendar year by the end of December each year and is published on the Authority’s website. The Board may update the announced costs if deemed necessary.
In this context, under Board Decision No. 11952, the YEKDEM cost for the withdrawal amount subject to settlement was determined to include December 2023 as follows:
